E-Learning Law

Distance learning for Bar Associations in Italy

The e-learning courses for criminal lawyers (Criminal Law) and civil lawyers (Civil Law) are dedicated to the training in legal English for lawyers, law students in Italy and all professionals working in law.

These are distance learning courses for professionals whose contents are divided in 2 or 4 units.

Each Unit includes recorded lectures by the lecturer in which the topics contained in itare aimed to teach the specific vocabulary of the profession by putting it into context. There are also vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension and listening exercises to practice what has been learnt.

At the end of each Unit, there is an intermediate test and a final test, preparatory to obtaining a final certificate attesting the level.

In these two tests, the structure of the exercises is inspired by that of the official examination for the certification of legal English Toles, where there is no oral test. In fact, the British certifying body has found that most professionals in the field have more opportunities to deal with written material. In the latter case the production must be of superior quality and unassailable, error-free to avoid legal consequences.
The Criminal and Civil Law e-learning courses can be one-to-one or as part of a more comprehensive course that can lead to preparation for the Toles FOUNDATION (B1) and HIGHER (B2) level legal English certification exams.
